Imagine …. White lines heading forards, green edgings at both sides, a ribbon of asphalt that stretches endlessly before your eyes, roaring engines and animals on the run.
You are in the middle of a strange and crazy chase, slipping, braking and falling and all this is accompanied by film tunes.
It is an amazing mix of action and poetic puppets.

"When I went to put on my shoes this morning, I realized that a little girl had started to live in them.We introduced ourselves (her name is Ariane), and she told me she wanted a pair of shoes.
We began to negotiate (she wants shoes… but I only have one pair … she wants shoes… but my clodhoppers are too big for her… yes, but she wants shoes… don't you want me to draw you a sheep?... No I want shoes!)
Finally Ariane decided to stay in my clodhoppers until I find her a pair that she wants."

A double bass player is on the way to the concert stage. On the leash walks her favorite Bassi, a walking double bass, literally a walking bass.
But the young, playful Bassi does not always want to do what he is told by his owner. Instead of retrieving sticks, Bassi prefers to sniff around in female purses. The attempt to leash Bassi becomes – to the joy of the audience – a wild and crazy disaster. And instead of playing the Hungarian Dances, Bassi prefers to dance them.
Even though Bassi does not always do as he is told: As a string instrument he is not only getting stroked by his owner, but also by the spectators. In doing so Bassi has won over many hearts!
Basso doble is a duo, which sometimes performs “con amore”, at other times “furioso” and which hits the right tone to captivate and inspire the audience in a charming way. The German-Swiss duo allures with a brilliant idea, subtle humor, charm and enthusiasm.

Walking theatre with a strong visual act. Two original creatures call themselves Flexus and they surprise the public for they are performing in a spectacular attractive way.
Flexus is created for a family public. They need interaction with public and they try to catch your attention by their play that is only based on improvisation on what is happening in the public.
Everybody who sees these creatures asks the same question: Who is controlling them? Is there somebody within? Or are they guided by a remote control?

A traveler comes closer and he stops. Without saying a word, he gives us a tale of tears, looking with big eyes at the world of the dead.
Out of a basket and a buggy are coming all sort of things, frameworks and puppets, which in no time, will show you why tears weigh on those who disappeared.
For they are still alive, somewhere, elsewhere, very close and they want only one thing: peace.
The story will end when all is said and life will go its way again, just as the traveler without a name.
A story about "once upon a time ..." that begins at a time when everything seems to stop.

"The Key in the Sea" is a tale of love, monsters and adventures on the high seas.
Princess Brunhilda runs away from home and spends the night in an old tower by the sea, Where a greedy sea-monster would love to have her as a snack. Knut, a courageous fisherman, finds a bottle with Brunhilda's shriek for help.

In the first (Hand), a puppet who is a little crazy is facing the hand that manipulates it.
In the second story (The Pocket) 3 puppets meet a greedy burlap.
The third story (The Job) shows a puppet who swears by “prêt-à-porter” and is annoyed by haute couture.
The fourth story (High Flight) wonders: what if the water of tomorrow would follow the same path as the oil of yesterday?

"Join The Parade" is a swinging parade. An indisputable eye catcher with two 4-meter-high figures. A giant puppet-man dances in combination with Atharina. This charming lady moves gracefully on a man-sized ball of almost 2 meters! The audience? They follow the figures like the children of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
This huge blend of puppetry and acrobatic dance, brings its own mobile sound system with it. However, it is possible that 'The Parade' starts dancing on each other (live) music source that’s in the steet. And such an interlude with a live band, stimulates the public to high quality dance moves.

It is a journey from the hand of Professor Stirman, ethno-puppet scholar, magician, charlatan, and record holder in all delights. With its theater of objects he makes a show without boundaries that begins with a Greek tragedy and ends in a wet rice field in Vietnam full of Asian mysteries.
Diego Stirman is one of those seductive charlatans who are capable to entertain a full theater house and to make them double up with laughter with only a few simple puppets. He is a virtuoso manipulator who has traveled around the world with his poetic, funny and absurd performances.

Alice is bored. She looks in the mirror and she wonders how the world on the other side would look like.
The mirror is temporarily permeable, so she can cross the mirror to the backside. She discovers a completely different world where everything is reversed. Thus when she wants to go to the garden, is has to go back and if she wants to remain on the spot, she should run hard. Not easy, but her sense of adventure and her curiosity allows her to meet unlikely characters but she loses all her recognition sites. Language is her only form of communication and it has become her only way out.
The ingenuity, the funny circumstances, situations without beginning or end, the crazy world of Lewis Carroll in "the back of the mirror" will intrigue you.
Throughout the story, various themes are touched: the quest for identity, the differences between people, the importance of language, Transformation metamorphoses… and Drolatic will bring them to life in 3 key moments from the book: "The Jabberwocky", "Humpty Dumpty" and "Tweedledum and Tweedledee "

Why "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo?
The characters from the popular novel are iconic: Cosette, Gavroche and Jean Valjean, Javert, Thenardier Les ..... They are shadows, misty, appearing in newspaper articles and sections "general news".
It is therefore appropriate that they get their proper place in the register of characters drafted by Garin Trousseboeuf.
Throughout the doubles of book and theater, we try to understand what drives the characters, what attracts them and what they love. In this way we hope, in a humble but humorous way, to learn a few things about ourselves and our fellow men.

"Barreras" is a street show which uses a wheelchair to show day to day life. The object, the puppet and the clown fuse to make reality come closer. The wheelchair is quite simply a metaphor, an excuse, an object through which we can look at ourselves and find ourselves.
By using gesture, sound or the simple word, something which is normally vetoed, hidden or distant becomes accessible and thought producing.

Jøttnjøl come from afar. Where they come from, or where they are heading no-one knows. But they are here now.
Their curiosity is boundless, they gather the odours and colours of life and wonder about everything you carry with you or leave behind. Who still cherishes treasures found at the beach, long long ago? Who still has them? That very first marble, or maybe the last one? A paperclip, a dried flower, a lucky stone. Ordinary yet extraordinary things, personal treasures, that don’t fit in the life of a grownup.
Jøttnjøl love to take care of your and their treasures, they have enough room to care for all of them.
They roam the streets and alleyways looking for more treasures, searching for the ultimate sensation of warmth and safety, Jøttnjøl, a special encounter, will find a place in everyone’s heart.
Jøttnjøl is a puppetry walkabout act. Two distinct creatures on their way, with enormous baskets filled with gathered adventures.
They’ve never finished collecting: after all, everything is of value. Street theatre with a poetic disposition. Unique and endearing.

"Snehurka" (Snowwhite and the 7 dwarfs) takes place on the comedian's cart which will become for a moment a queen's bower then thick dark forest and finally a little cottage with seven little beds, a table and benches for the dwarfs. The show is lively thanks to the rhythmical songs with the catchy refrain which the children sing together with the actors.
The show will not lack humour and which is more important love which will overcome death.

In places where something is to celebrate “Vooruit met de Kuit” is present. Since July 2003 they dance at the opening procession of the Ghent festival, at neighborhood parties, in many festivals and other fun events.
They are like little puppets on a string.
“Vooruit met de Kuit” is a hell of enthusiasm and everywhere they go, they are successful. They present themselves as a bunch of crazy musicians and strange majorettes and. The original dance moves and quirky outfit and the anarchistic interpretation of the music makes even the least talented conservatory student smirk. And yet, or because of it, “Vooruit met de Kuit” always reaches the public admiration, sympathy and affection and above all they generate a broad smile.
